The Problem

Scenario

Schedule staff using three types of workers to meet coverage needs at minimum cost.

Full-Time (FT)	200	8
Part-Time (PT)	100	4

Your Goal

Minimize total labor cost while meeting coverage requirements.

The Constraints

1. Coverage: Need at least 80 coverage units

   Formula: 8×FT + 4×PT + 2×temp ≥ 80

2. Max Full-Time: Cannot hire more than 15 FT workers

   Formula: FT ≤ 15

3. Max Part-Time: Cannot hire more than 20 PT workers

   Formula: PT ≤ 20
